Gary Lloyd was born and raised in the north of England.
He trained in dance and musical theatre at Laine Theatre Arts in Epsom,
Surrey, fast becoming Choreographer, Movement Director and Director
after a successful performing career.
With an innate creative vision for bringing stories to life on the theatrical stage,
Gary has captivated audiences with his innovative choreography and his ability to bring out the best in every concept, artist and performer, a trait that without doubt has made him one of the most sought after Director / Choreographers today.
From West End productions to global tours, his creative genius has left an indelible mark on the industry, his crossover from music industry to theatre bringing a
distinctive fusion of knowledge and collaborative style to the table. Gary began his career in theatre, where his passion remains, and his decade as a performer plays
an integral part in his unique directorial style.
Gary’s work can be seen across the globe where he has worked with some of the industry’s most legendary talent.
Gary is also a published author and his first book, ‘My Life With Michael - Ten Years of Thriller Live!’ is now available in all good book shops and in online stores,
published by The Book Guild.

Gary is Patron of the Janice Sutton Theatre School, Masters Performing Arts and was awarded a Companion of LIPA for his services to theatre and dance by Sir Paul McCartney.
Whilst working with Performers College students Gary taught choreography from the West End hit, ‘Heathers the Musical’ allowing the students to experience an audition experience as well as delve deeper into character portrayal and connection to the movement from a performance perspective. This masterclass was invaluable for our students hoping to move forward into a performing career in musical theatre productions.
